These lovely onions are great split in half, roasted or grilled  with a little salt and olive oil but don't throw away the tops! Cut them off and finely chop them as an addition to a salad or use them with your spicy peppers from the box.

Recipe for Peppers and Onion Tops

In a frying pan heat up a couple tablespoons of olive oil at medium heat, throw in the peppers and let them sizzle for 5 minutes. Before taking the peppers off the flame add finely chopped onion tops and let them wilt in the heat. Add salt for taste and you have an amazing starter. May be spicy.
